I woke up this morning and completely forgot it was August 1st already- wow, this year is flying by so fast! May we keep on towards the Goal, ever conforming to Him!
The magazine is in the works- it’s almost complete, just waiting on one more article. Thank you for your patience, Lord willing it should be out shortly.

{July’s Favorites, 2010}
I apologize for the lateness of this post- our dog went in for surgery, and for the next two weeks we need to keep a close eye on him. We’ve all been taking turns, but still, it takes a lot of my time. Thus, I haven’t had the chance to compile my favorites for this month until now…and even still, this will be shorter than the last two {Favorites}!
Concerning the magazine…it’s almost complete! I’ll be printing it up tonight for proofreading and editing, and then off to the printers we go! Continue to keep me in your prayers as I do this endeavor…I so want every aspect of this ministry and magazine to be fully used to bring young ladies closer to the Father and to give HIM the glory!

Summertime, Melting Fine…

Hello, ladies!
You may all find the title comical, but that pretty much sums up the weather over here. I’ve been feeling like I’m melting from sticky humidity and hot temperatures, and although it’s not fun it’s definitely an opportunity praise the Lord through even the “icky” times of life!
As far as a magazine update, we’re getting VERY close to finishing our Summer 2010 issue. I am so thankful for that- when I first started printing the magazines, I was close to 2 months off-schedule which I really don’t want to happen ever again! 
I’m also trying (in the midst of a busy schedule) to add more items/pictures to PLLM’s Boutique. Slowly but surely…is there anything in particular that you would like to be able to purchase? Any ideas of what should be sold? Headbands, aprons, prayer shawls, jewelry, etc….please, I need your feedback as always!

A little something new

Hello, readers! For those of you who do not read PLLM’s quarterly magazines, let me catch you up: in the last issue (Spring 2010) I asked the opinion of the readers on having a monthly e-interview with young ladies (titled “Skirted in Modesty”). However after little response and thinking things over, I decided that having to worry about interviews would add too much to my already full plate. Yet, I wanted to keep in touch with my readers over the three-months of silence while working on an upcoming issue. My solution is just this- a monthly “favorites” list, featuring a little note from me as well as showcasing a sponsor, some favorites from the mail bag, photos, blogs, and more. I hope to do this every month as a way to keep in touch not only with our magazine readers, but with those who are not subscribed to the magazine as well.
